Singles Ladder

Back again for 2011! Our singles ladder is a co-ed ladder in which club members of all skill levels can participate.

This year the singles ladder will start May 1st and end September 30th.

Players and Standings

Singles Ladder - September 2011 (last updated September 1)

Need to submit a score? Email the result to ladder@hespelertennis.on.ca, or write it directly on the ladder posted in the clubhouse.

You will have ONE calendar month to complete all of your matches (e.g. all of June)
All matches will be a Pro-Set to EIGHT (8) with a tie-breaker held at 7-7.
Scores must be recorded on the draw sheets in the clubhouse. If the clubhouse is locked, please email your results to: ladder@hespelertennis.on.ca
At the end of the month, your total WINS will be counted. The top two finishers in the division will be promoted to the next higher division for the following month. The bottom two finishers in the division will be relegated to the next lower division for the following month.
If a game is not played over the course of the whole month, you will receive ZERO (0) points for that game.
It is the players resonsibilty to contact the other players in their division, consult the Hespeler Tennis Club calendar of events (to find a free time/court) and arrange to play the match. The players can decide on who will bring the balls, etc.

Each month you will receive points based on your results. These points DO NOT determine who moves up or down between divisions from month to month.

The player with the most points at the end of the season will be the ladder champion.
